Staff & Volunteers
Rosemarie Saniti is Executive Director. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, Aiken with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a major in Accounting. It was Rosemarie's dream to establish her own non-profit organization to help out-of-school youth since she was quite young.
Because of Rosemarie's personal life experiences, her drive to empower, motivate, and give hope to the youth, and her ideas which inspire young minds, she is uniquely qualified for her position as Executive Director. With the help of other Starfish staff and student volunteers, Rosemarie has greatly expanded the foundation's programs and services.
Jireh Lee Faa is Program Director. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University of the Philippines with a Bachelors of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering. Jireh manages the Starfish Scholarship Program and students in Luzon.
His personal mission is to reach the "untouchable" ones living in the mountains without access to technology or education.
COMMUNITY RELATIONS DIRECTOR
Jonah Salcedo is Community Relations Director. She is a graduate of Northwest Samar State University (NWSSU) with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and is a licensed teacher. Jonah was President of PULSO, an NWSSU student organization. She was a Member of the Board of NWSSU as the student representative and a community activist while attending school. Her leadership skills and passion for helping others is exemplary and young people look up to her as a role model.
She manages the Scholarship Program in Samar and oversees the other programs and services of the foundation in Samar.
Kristoper Ortiz is Project Coordinator. He manages and oversees construction of the Peek-A-Book Mini Library Project in Calbayog City.
He is a graduate of Northwest Samar State University with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Kristoper also works for his Alma Mater as a site inspector and is the current advisor for The Runaway Volunteers, an NWSSU student organization.
LEAD VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
Jessa Torculas is Lead Volunteer Coordinator. She will graduate in 2019 from the Northwest Samar State University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education as an English major.
Jessa is the current chairman of The Runaway Volunteers, an NWSSU student organization and is a very involved community activist and volunteer. Jessa manages everything related to student volunteers and provides assistance for community outreach and other programs.
Rannie Payos is Volunteer Coordinator. He will graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Northwest Samar State University in 2019.
Rannie is a dedicated member of the student organization PULSO and an active volunteer. He works closely with Jessa as the Volunteer Coordinator.
