The Peek-A-Book: Mini Library Project aims to inspire and promote the love of reading for its target users. This library also serves as a hub for its users to hang out while reading books and playing board games rather than hanging out in unsafe and unmotivating places.

In May of 2018, the Starfish Foundation officially opened its first Mini Library Project located in Barangay Dagum, Calbayog City, Western Samar, Philippines in cooperation with Barangay (village) officials, local youth organizations, and volunteers.

Currently, the library in Barangay Dagum houses approximately four hundred (400) books; Many of those books came from donations from the community and other citizens who support this cause.

In January 2019, the Starfish Foundation started the construction of its second Peek-A-Book Mini Library Project in Barangay Sinidman Oriental in cooperation with officials, youth organizations, community, and volunteers.

We are raising 5,000 American dollars or approximately 250,000 Philippines pesos to build our 3rd Peek-A-Book Mini Library!

Any amount you can donate will be a huge help in building our next library and buying new books.

Together we can inspire young minds. Together we can change lives.
